Is Fukuoka a good place to build and grow a startup?

Recently visited Fukuoka and am really impressed by the culture, life, and vibrancy of the entrepreneurial community there.

What're your thoughts on Fukuoka as a place to build my tech startup?

I’m from Fukuoka and have seen the startup scene grow a lot lately. Some thoughts:

Government is super supportive (Startup City program, easy visa for founders).
Cost of living and rent are way cheaper than Tokyo or Osaka.
People here are friendly and open — good community vibe. Lots of foreigners too
Many coworking spaces and events for startups now.
You might still need to visit Tokyo for investors or clients sometimes, but its easy with bullet train.

Overall, great place if you want a relaxed lifestyle and steady growth for your startup.
