Where can I find seed stage investors?

Where are the best places to find seed-stage investors for my startup? Where are the best directories that have an updated list of investors and their funding stages / verticals?

I don't really need to raise funds but if you asked me, I'd say linkedin would be your best bet.

Everyone is there, and most investors are active there too.

Another way is probably just to ask your rich friends for referrals. Might work better.
