Global investment company Lightspeed has closed it's fourth fund, totaling capital of US$560 million, focusing on China investments.

This includes Lightspeed China Partners IV (US$360 million) and Lightspeed China Partners Select I (US$200 million).

This is the largest round Lightspeed China has raised to date, raising the total committed capital to US$1.5 billion.

The funds will be focused on investing in both early-stage and growth stage tech companies in China.

Pinduoduo

In the past year and a half, several companies from the firm’s portfolio have completed successful IPOs, including Pinduoduo and Meituan Dianping.
