GetDoc announced today that the company will be launching its very own version of cashless payments for patients, allowing them to easily pay their medical bills at clinics directly from the app.
The solution, coined GetDocPay is aimed at being the first of its kind in the healthcare industry that does away with cash transactions in clinics.
How it works is pretty simple. Users start out by add their debit/credit cards as a payment option to the GetDoc app
After the payment details have been added to the app, users simply select the GetDocPay option from the app's homepage when making a payment.
Users then select the clinic they'd like to make payments to and specify the amount to be paid.
The app then processes the payment and produces a receipt that can be shared with others or submitted for payment claims.
During their soft launch last week, the company announced that they have secured as many as 100 clinics across Klang Valley that readily accept this service as a method of payment at their clinics.
According to GetDoc, feedback from patients who started using the new service has also been very positive due to it's convenience.
GetDoc also mentioned that their payment service will support payment methods made via major banks in Malaysia via a safe and secure environment. At the same time, users can also earn loyalty points when medical bills are paid using the new payment service.
