Malaysia-based healthtech platform, DoctorOnCall has inked a strategic partnership with the Malaysian Muslim Doctors Organisation (Perdim).
The partnership will enable members of Perdim, an organisation that manages general practitioners, to list their services on the DoctorOnCall’s platform.
The digital healthcare platform mentioned in a statement that the partnership aims to enable Perdim members on bridging the gap between healthcare providers and patients by connecting with potential patients seamlessly.
Besides enabling appointment booking for patients, Perdim members will be able to offer remote health-related services teleconsultation and home monitoring.

- With the partnership, congestion would be reduced at healthcare facilities and patients will be able to receive urgent treatment on time; along with eliminating the need for travel or waiting long hours in a queue.
- Co-founder and chief marketing officer of DoctorOnCall, Hazwan Najib said that the partnership with Perdim will enhance the quality network and diversified healthcare capabilities of the company, empowering patients with broader options and value-added access.
- President of Perdim, Dr. Boi Saidi bin Abdul Razak mentioned the partnership will enable medical practitioners to conduct periodic medical check-ins and provide palliative care while patients will be able to seamlessly seek opinions or recommendations and purchase medications at their physical outlets.
- DoctorOnCall’s platform features a business-to-business (B2B) marketplace that digitalises and facilitates the procurement process between distributors and clinics or individual doctors.
