MYStartup Pre-Accelerator Programme is an initiative by Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation Malaysia (MOSTI) and supported by Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd.
The programme targets early-stage startups and focuses on coaching in business strategies implementation, access to market and funding.
Starting from 12 May 2022, the programme will run for 6 months, with 36 startups shortlisted for the first batch.
The startups will obtain networking opportunities with key industry players, potential investors, and business experts among others.
Successful startups that complete the programme are eligible to receive up to RM150,000 (~US$34,000) in investment from Cradle via its CIP Spark funding programme.
Besides that, they will also receive additional investment and acceleration opportunities of up to RM50,000 (~US$11,400) and an offer to join BEYOND4's own accelerator programme.
"The MYStartup PreAccelerator programme is part of the larger MYStartup strategy initiated by MOSTI and Cradle is proud to be able to bring together this pool of innovative startups and investors, in realising MOSTI’s vision," said Rafiza Ghazali, group chief executive officer of Cradle.
Cradle is Malaysia's early stage start-up venture, incorporated under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) back in 2003 with the goal to fund potential tech startups through its Cradle Investment Programme (CIP).
