IOI Properties Group Bhd has announced its IOI Kickstart program that awarded grants of RM50,000 to six selected potential companies.
The focus of IOI Kickstart is to provide a launchpad for emerging firms in the property and agricultural industry, along with undefined enterprise concepts.
The program received a total of 40 applications but only 15 startups were asked to pitch their ideas which were evaluated; leading to selecting the final 6 startups.
“Solely six out of these 15 teams have been chosen and are believed to have enterprise concepts that would create an optimistic impression to the economic system, surroundings, and society,” IOI Properties chief government officer, Datuk Voon Tin Yow said during the grant presentation.
The Six Selected Startups
Besides the RM50,000 grant, access to IOI Rio, a next-gen sensible office space situated in Bandar Puteri Puchong, will be provided for the selected startups as well.
The startups can also capitalise on the mentoring from IOI Properties Group’s C-Suite, led by government director Lee Yoke Har.
Voon added that innovation is the key to sustainable progress as it promotes growth and pushes new limits.
