Ride-hailing and digital payments platform, Grab has launched home cleaning services in Singapore.
Grab's Home Services that Are Available
- Home Cleaning - Regular home cleaning (bathroom & kitchen cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitation, bed-making, and more) and post renovation / move in or out cleaning (thorough cleaning of all rooms including mild disinfecting, dusting, wiping, removing dust and more)
- Air Conditioner Cleaning - Basic cleaning and chemical wash which is only applicable to wall-mount air conditioners
- Deep Cleaning - Carpets / rugs cleaning, sofa cleaning and mattress cleaning
How Home Services Work and Their Key Benefits
- Available via GrabMart where users can select a preferred date and time 1-7 days in advance for the service
- No set up is required as everything is done on the Grab super-app
- All service providers have at least 5 years of professional experience
- No platform fee or extra charges to use the services
- Payments for the services are made through GrabPay and users will be rewarded with GrabRewards points
Furthermore, Grab mentioned that new categories will be added in the near future.
During 2019, Grab partnered with service marketplaces such as Kaodim and Sejasa to offer home services in Malaysia and Indonesia respectively.
The difference is for Singapore, Grab is now independently offering the home services.
