This October 14th, a Singapore-based co-working space operator will be hosting a match-making event to introduce startups with venture capital investors.
The initiative, which has matched several hundred startups with investors since 2019, aims to match over 400 startup companies with VCs this time around via a targeted and curated approach.
Event Details
- Meet the VCs ASEAN by Found8 will take place virtually on 14th October 2021, at 1:00PM (GMT+8).
- Startup companies can apply to pitch here.
- Application closes on 29th September 2021.
- Designed to facilitate the initial conversation between VCs and startups.
- Each meeting is private and 20 minutes long.
- Shortlisted startups will be notified via email before 8th October 2021.
- 22 VCs from across ASEAN including well-known VCs such as Sequoia Capital, 500 TukTuks, Openspace Ventures, and more.
Why It Matters
- Since its inception back in 2019, Found8 has received over 500 applications from startups in Malaysia and Singapore, and matched over 150 startups to VCs.
- 90% of the startups that participated in the program successfully secured at least one follow up meeting.
- Unlike a normal pitch which followed by Q&A, Meet the VCs is an interactive 20 minutes session via casual conversations.
