Trip.com provides an online platform for people to find and purchase cost-effective travel products/services, as well as obtain detailed information on travel-related offerings.
For the fourth quarter of 2020, Trip.com reported a net revenue of $770 million, a 40% decrease from the same period in 2019.
Trip.com plans to capitalize on the post-pandemic recovery
With the new funds, Trip.com plans to expand its travel offerings, invest in technology and improve the platform's overall user experience as global travel begins to recover.
A portion of the funds will also go to supporting the company's general working capital.
