In an effort to support more businesses affected by the global pandemic, Malaysian Martech firm OpenMinds Resources is pledging to fund up to $9 million to provide entrepreneurs access to high quality learning programs.
Dubbed the #StayAhead campaign, the new initiative will sponsor up to 100,000 premium accounts on the OpenAcademy App.
Prior to this, users had to become paying subscribers in order to access learning content on the app.
OpenAcademy, also known as “Instagram for Business”, is an educational app that aims to help entrepreneurs gain more insights for their businesses through online training and programs created by successful practitioners.
The app contains complete business insights in the market, bite-sized Instagram stories learning, and no-fluff content to help businesses that are recovering in the post-pandemic world.
“We want to help every single one of you to be able to learn and upskill yourself during this trying time,” says Celine Ting, head of OpenAcademy.
To claim the sponsored premium accounts, users must first download the app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, sign up for an account, and activate their account via a link sent to their email.
Only the first 100,000 signups will gain access to the premium accounts that contain full features comprised of 80 video series, 500 additional content of articles, infographics, podcasts, statistics, and more.
OpenAcademy believes that the world of business should not only be about competition amongst each other, but also to lead entrepreneurs together in a collaborative effort of achieving greater heights and broadening horizons.
“In the midst of unknowns, we decided to still push forward our long-standing goal which is to educate and provide a no-fluff learning experience to all,” Celine added.
