Starburst, a defense and aerospace accelerator, has announced that it will be starting an accelerator program in Singapore.
The goal of the new accelerator is to strengthen the capabilities of aviation startups while providing them access to a global network of experts in the field.
Starburst claims to be the "first and only" global aerospace accelerator, and aims to back startups in their program by connecting them with leading players in the aerospace industry.
The company currently has offices in Los Angeles, Paris, Munich, London, Seoul, Tel Aviv, and now Singapore.
To expand its Singapore presence, Starburst has also formed partnerships with Enerprise Singapore, Singapore Airlines, SIA Engineering Company, SATS, AIRLab, and Panasonic Avionics.
Starburst's program is scheduled to kick-off starting 3rd February.
"Given the unprecedented unpredictability of the Covid-19 pandemic, corporations within the air transport sector are eager to adopt innovative solutions by working with startups to eliminate uncertainty", mentioned the firm in a statement.
