One of Malaysia's most anticipated entrepreneurship events, E-Nation Conference, is back this 2020.

Organised by the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) for a second consecutive year, the nationwide event expects to bring together entrepreneurs, innovators, regulators, investors, policy makers and industry leaders from all over the country.

E-Nation will be held from 20-23 October 2020, and aims to connect 1,000 participants from across the startup ecosystem with 65 speakers and moderators in developing a sustainable innovation-driven entrepreneurship ecosystem for the nation.

Among the notable speakers are Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Hon. Khairy Jamaluddin, former New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark, former France Minister of SMEs, Innovation and Digital Economy Fleur Pellerin, Founder and Chairman of The X Prize Peter H. Diamandis, Executive Director & CEO Air Asia Group Tan Sri Dr. Tony Fernandes, Country Head Google Malaysia Marc Woo, Group VP of Marketing and Founding CMO Grab Cheryl Goh and many more

This year’s theme, Propelling a Resilient Economy, is propped by three pillars – Embracing Change, Enabling Technology and Empowering Societies.

“COVID-19 has accelerated the need for innovation and created game-changing opportunities for the nation to bounce back and establish economic resilience via innovation and creativity,” said Dzuleira Abu Bakar, CEO of MaGIC.

With physical distancing protocols to adhere to, this year’s E-Nation will be fully virtual.

CEO of MaGIC, Dzuleira mentioned innovation has become more crucial in both survival and recovery of startups and social enterprises.
