GOLOG and Fully Fishery have formed a new partnership to digitalize the frozen seafood delivery industry across Malaysia and Singapore.
Via the new partnership, the 2 companies will join forces to make use of big data, technology, and infrastructure to optimize and expand their logistics coverage areas to serve both the B2B and B2C markets in both Malaysia and Singapore.
The 2 companies have worked together since January 2020 and achieved an all-time high of frozen seafood sales during the month of April when the movement control order (MCO) was initiated in Malaysia.
GOLOG and Fully Fishery are aware that frozen seafood deliveries are a huge and growing market, especially in a world where traffic at retail outlets has fallen significantly.
Moving forward, both companies are prepared for the 2021 Chinese New Year celebration as the forecast shows that delivery numbers for frozen seafood will grow another 3X compared to current delivery numbers.
“Since GOLOG came onboard, they have reduce a lot of issues such as goods defrosting and getting spoilt during the delivery process. They have provided us a hassle free system that consumes less processing time and labour, which significantly reduces logistics costs.” said Lim Chui Fu, Managing director of Fully Online Seafood Malaysia.
“ We are pleased that Fully Fishery had provided more than 1000 types of SKU data for GOLOG along the delivery process that enable us to analyse and filter the SKU data to develop more intelligent system in cold chain logistics." said Ivan Chin, Founder & CEO of GOLOG.
