One month has passed since SouthEast Asia's leading accelerator, MaGIC’s Global Accelerator Programme, kicked off its 4th cohort.
The 3-month all-virtual program which began back in September, has already gone through an intensive one month of preparing startups for their next phase of growth.
In the first month, the programme focused heavily on startup fundraising, covering some of these key topics:
Aside from the virtual learning sessions, MaGIC also extended invitations to various prominent startup founders and industry experts to share their business experiences with the cohort.
Some of these special guests include Mohd Afdhal from AirAsia Berhad, Tay Zi Li from ZiCO Law, Nadhir Ashafiq from TheLorry, and A. Zakir Jaafar from Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
Cohort 04 startups were also given the opportunity to visit one of GAP investment partners, Cradle Fund — the government agency providing grants for innovative startup companies.
Moving forward, the GAP will continue with deeper learnings on communication, technology development, business acumen, and more.
The 1 month programme will finish off with a "Pitch & Grill" session, where startups will be given the opportunity to practice their pitch and receive constructive feedback from industry experts.
