Popular Philippines business reality TV show, THE Final Pitch, is looking for non-profit organizations and startups to address challenges related to the pandemic.

Much like Shark Tank, The Final Pitch is a competition where entrepreneurs pitch their ventures and get the chance to fund their businesses with help from some of the country’s top investors.

In an effort to address the economic and social impacts of the pandemic, the upcoming season will not just accept pitches from startup companies for investments, but also pitches from non-profit organizations for donations/grants as well.

Pitches for donations and grants must come from reputable organizations that have a specific ask for beneficiary communities such as medical frontliners, farmers, indigent communities, and displaced workers.

On the flip-side, pitches for investments should come from entrepreneurs, inventors, and startups that provide solutions and technologies to the country’s transition to the new normal.

“We are hopeful as we introduce this relevant and timely format for The Final Pitch: Heroes Edition. We have seen in our past five seasons the exponential effects of matching the right ideas with the right investments. We hope that through this season, we will identify the best high-impact advocacies and solutions to help turn around the economic and social ramifications of the COVID-19 crisis for the sake of our kababayans,” said The Final Pitch host and creator John Aguilar.

For the first time, The Final Pitch is also calling investors and conglomerate partners to play a pivotal role in the selection process, refinement of proposals, and financial backing of the show.

“The core of the show is to make a difference through entrepreneurship. We think this season is a chance for us to prove that further, and to show how businesses and innovative entrepreneurs can provide solutions and opportunities during and after a crisis. If there are new entrepreneurs, organizations, and investors who believe they can help move our country forward, we would be honored to have them on the show, and work with them in our collective nation rebuilding efforts” added Aguilar.
