One of Malaysia's notable accelerators, Selangor Accelerator Programme (SAP), is now accepting applications for their 3rd cohort.
The program, which focuses on turning startups from the idea-stage to investment-ready companies, is looking forward to onboarding 30 high potential local startups to join the program.
The programme lasts for 4 months and open to startups that have a minimum viable product (MVP).
The program will offer entirely-sponsored local and overseas trips, valuable networking opportunities, peer support communities, hands-on workshops, pitching clinics, and 1-to-1 mentoring sessions.
Startups will also be given the opportunity to pitch their ventures to investors on the Selangor Accelerator Program Demo Day, which takes place on September 5th.
For the upcoming cohort, SAP is looking for companies working on emerging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, Cloud computing, Big Data, Machine Learning, IoT, Smart City, and E-Commerce.
Since the programme's inception close to 3 years ago, a total of 55 Minimum Viable Products (MVP) and RM 26 million Gross Market Value (GMV) have been created.
20 of the 60 startups from the previous cohorts have also secured seed funds and angel investments ranging from RM300,000 to RM 1.4 Million.
Moving forward, SAP aims to enhance the startup ecosystem in Selangor by bridging potential innovative products and solutions from startups that can be piloted or adopted by both the government and the private sector.
The official registration date begins from May 1st - May 31st, 2020, with more information available on the SAP official website.
