igloohome, the Singaporean company behind the popular smart locks and lock boxes, is organizing its first design competition to engage Singaporeans over the extended circuit breaker measures.
The igloohome Circuit Disrupt: Design Challenge competition aims to encourage the inner creator, innovator, and designer in people, with cash prizes and perks of over $30,000.
The challenge, which takes place between 30th April to 1st June 2020, welcomes participants to present a concept or prototype that adds to smarter ways for living.
Solutions that range from digital tools, physical products, service proposals to spatial designs are welcome to participate.
Participants will also be given a chance to share their ideas with judges, some of who are the top designers in the country.
Judges will also offer mentorship worth SGD$10,000 to winning teams to help take their ideas further.
Apart from cash, the prizes also include hotel stays at the Shangri-La and lyf by Ascott, co-working space access, uHoo air quality devices, and more.
igloohome is also keen on co-creating any good ideas that come from this challenge, taking participants' ideas to the next level.
“At igloohome, we value innovation and want to co-create a world without keys with the community. We believe that everyone has brilliant ideas on ways to contribute to smarter living, and we want to provide a platform as well as the resources to propel these ideas into reality.” says Anthony Chow, CEO and Co-founder of igloohome.
