iPrima Media, the company behind 10 popular news/media websites, is on a mission to save SMEs who have been severely affected by nationwide shut-downs.
The initiative, dubbed iPrima SME Support, is aimed at helping SMEs move online very quickly with very low risk — by providing free marketing for SMEs, complimentary online consult, as well as technical assistance to help SMEs move their businesses online very quickly.
To achieve this, iPrima Media will be harnessing all their resources ranging from digital talent, regional networks, and media assets, to ensure a smooth transition and adequate support for SMEs during this time.
As of today, iPrima Media's digital assets have a combined reach of over 10 million visitors monthly, and a diverse talent pool capable of supporting technical areas such as website creation, graphic design, online marketing, and more (full list here).
According to founder of iPrima Media, Shaun Ling, he believes that the effects of the global health situation will continue to last even after countries have reopened, and will continue to impact traditional businesses more severely in the coming months.
"Many SMEs, especially traditional businesses, will cease to exist in the coming months if they do not take drastic measures today. The economic landscape has changed, and so has consumer behaviour. We hope that this initiative will be able to empower more SMEs to make the shift to the digital world fast and with minimal risk, ensuring they have a presence, are able to continue to reach customers, and can remain sustainable.", mentioned Shaun Ling.
