GoLog, a startup company from Malaysia, is out to solve major challenges in the cold chain logistics industry that is costing businesses billions every year.
As perishable products have to follow strict temperature requirements when being shipped, this results in many challenges — inefficient resource management, long waiting times, poor cost structures, human errors, high number of product returns, interrupted services, and plenty more.
Utilizing the power of technology, GoLog solves all these problems in a seamless and streamlined fashion.
Founded in 2017 by Ivan Chin, GoLog is an intelligent solution that instantly matches wholesalers / retailers with cold chain delivery fleets for the most cost effective and efficient solution possible.
The system is designed as a turnkey solution which encompasses various aspects of operations and brings the following benefits:
All these are crucial to an industry where freshness and efficiency is key to the quality of their product and especially impactful on their bottom line.
Since its launch, GoLog has been growing steadily 1000% year-on-year, serving over 50 renowned companies in agriculture, food production, wholesalers, FMCG, retail franchises, restaurant chains, and even companies selling fruits.
GoLog’s substantial growth indicates that they expect to handle over 3.3 million deliveries in 2020, and surpass RM30 million in revenue by 2021.
Ivan adds that believes that there is tremendous opportunity to digitalize the cold chain logistics space, where over 1 million businesses nationwide suffer from similar challenges.
As of today, the company is expanding their offerings to serve the pharmaceutical industry by working with MNCs to develop a highly scalable cross-border delivery solution capable of handling shipments to Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
To date, GoLog has raised over RM1.8 million in funding, and is looking to close their Pre-Series A round by 2020.
Looking beyond merely digitalizing cold chain industry, GoLog’s end game is to create a one-stop cross-border logistics solution that would link up all farmers, fishing villages, wholesalers, and retailers into one single digital platform — allowing the region to transport anything, anywhere, in an exceptionally short period of time.
