Jabarano in Australia will promote a type of Arabica coffee that originated from the Indonesian province of West Java.
There will be four outlets to be opened across Australia, with the first located on 555 Flinders Lane in Melbourne.
Each Jabarano cafe will come with Indonesian cultural displays, allowing visitors to enjoy them while tasting the flavours of local Indonesian coffees.
The idea of opening the cafe started with the governor’s regret of not finding shops that sold unique Indonesian coffee during his journeys across the globe.
“Our vision is simple: We want West Java coffees to be a champion in the world’s coffee market because we have diverse coffee commodities,” Ridwan Kamil said.
