CY Lai, the Malaysian serial entrepreneur and founder of food delivery + F&B management system, EatFun, has launched a new venture focused on helping businesses reach the consumer audience across Asia.

The new venture, also known as News Asia Today, is an online news publication covering the latest stories on lifestyle, technology, and business in Asia.

News Asia Today to focus on Asia's news

Lai believes that there is much the world has yet to know about Asia, and aims to turn News Asia Today into a hub for people to discover this part of the world.

With partners in China and Japan, the company will also cover stories happening in those countries, with a focus on travel and lifestyle.

News Asia Today is growing fast

Since inception, News Asia Today has garnered a strong readership, with over 50,000 unique readers visiting the website within just the first month, and over 30,000 people becoming a subscriber.

The site's traffic is also growing 20% month-on-month, largely from their growing social media following.

Moving forward, the News Asia Today plans to feature more small and medium-sized businesses that are seeking exposure, and to bring greater exposure to stories in Asia that could educate and inspire people worldwide.
