Previously in October 2018, the startup closed US$1.6 million in pre-Series A funding round led by East Ventures and Hill Ventures followed by a US$14.5 million Series A round in July 2019.

Established in 2017, Waresix connects shippers and businesses with available transporters or trucks and warehouse spaces across Indonesia.

Since the beginning of its operations, Waresix intercity trucking and transportation business has grown very rapidly and it is now planning for a Series B funding this year.

Waresix will use the investment to achieve its mission to develop and expand the existing warehouse network.

“Distribution and logistics have always been a challenge in Indonesia due to its island structure. Waresix provides a solution for dynamic warehouse strategy that allows its customers to adjust quickly with variable demands,” Waresix CEO Andree Susanto said.
