QRIS (Quick Response Indonesia Standard) is a QR code developed by Bank Indonesia that integrates e-payment services, including GoPay, OVO, Dana, LinkAja, GoMobile, and Sakuku.
The new payment system will initially be used for food and beverage transactions in the university’s canteen, Untar will also apply QRIS for payment at its parking lot, library, and photocopy service.
Besides partnering with Untar, GoPay also established a forum named "Forum Pedagang Baik" for small and micro-enterprise owners to gather and learn to manage their business and their digital assets.
QRIS, launched on Indonesia’s Independence Day on August 17, 2019, offers not only convenience in transaction, but also provides an improvement, innovation, and competitiveness in doing business.
“We appreciate the support from GoPay for letting us be the first university to introduce QRIS within a campus environment,” Tarumanagara University head of marketing Wilina Lee said.
