BaseConf2020, a major tech conference hosted by Johor ecosystem builder START Malaysia and Thailand media company Techsauce, will be taking place this January 15th and 16th, in Iskandar (Johor) Malaysia.

The conference, which is the first of its kind in Iskandar Malaysia, aims to bring over 1,500 delegates, 100 companies, and 50 speakers coming from 15 different cities across the region.

BaseConf2020 will feature activities designed for the local and international community, some of which include Corporate Innovation, Venture Investments, Startup War Stories, Digital Transformation, Future Technology, and E-Commerce.

Among the speakers of the event are key players from Alibaba, Traveloka, Ant Financial, Techstars, and other industry experts from all over the region.

According to Feng Lim, founder of START Malaysia, BaseConf aims to provide a long term platform to showcase local entrepreneurs on a regional level, as well as provide opportunities to bridge the technology ecosystem in Malaysia, both for big and small companies.
