The micro-warehousing startup, Crewdible raised $1.5 million in its pre-series A round led by Global Founders Capital to widen their presence across Indonesia by boosting its marketing efforts, and improving its system to cater for huge traffic from scaling.
Back in September 2018, it received funding from angel investors to grow 40 times bigger in just over a year, to provide its service; connecting e-commerce sellers with warehouse owners for order fulfilment by converting empty facilities like houses, offices, and warehouses into micro-warehouses.
Its service enabled the deployment of warehouses anywhere even in an expensive and strategic location, where the fees are cut down by eliminating big overhead costs in rental, setup, and maintenance fees.
Crewdible was a part of Gojek Xcelerate, an accelerator program by Gojek in partnership with a startup hub, Digitaraya, earlier this year.
Sony Gultom, chief technology officer and co-founder of Crewdible said:
“With our advanced system, we want to support our sellers every step of the way, from 20 transactions to 100,000 transactions a month.”
