3 Crazy Designs Hong Kong Students Used To Promote Environmental Awareness

Global Sources Fashion is Hong Kong’s biggest fashion sourcing event, is a gathering of high-quality suppliers from the Asia-Pacific region, exhibiting their latest fashion bags, sportswear, apparel, footwear, accessories and fabrics.

It has also dedicated a corner for young designers to showcase their award winning ideas in the section of promoting environmental awareness.

We found 3 crazy ideas the Hong Kong students came out with in the trade show.

1.  Lau Wing Tung

A shoe made out of 3D printing & recycled jeans denim to design a new shoe

2. He Xinyue

Using rotten wood as the shoe support creating an exaggerated looking high heel.

3. Cheung Chui Shan

Inspired by the problem of ice thaw and losing of natural habitat for shoe design to remind us to pay more attention to global warming.
