One of Singapore's most prominent Smart Cities conferences will be taking place this 30th August.
Organized by smart access company Igloohome, the inaugural Singapore Smart Cities Summit expects to bring over 250 attendees ranging from business owners, corporate innovators, investors, and smart city solution-providers.
The summit will feature numerous panel sessions with themes surrounding smart cities across different regions, property technology, deep tech, smart living, and more.
Notable speakers include Steve Melhuish, co-founder of PropertyGuru; Ivan Ng, CTO of leading global real estate company, City Developments Limited; Diomedes Kastanis, Head of IoT, Singtel; Ian Chadsey, Director of Jones Lang Lasalle, and Andrew Young, Group Chief Innovation Officer of SINO Group. Attending media include Bloomberg, CNBC and Nikkei.
Igloohome expects that connections made through the event will help deepen conversations between the stakeholders, and sustain beyond the Summit.
“Singapore has won the Smart City of 2018 award at the Smart City World Congress in Barcelona, and many cities are looking to Singapore as a prime example of how to digitize and innovate to boost livability and sustainability. Startups and smart city innovators have a large role to play in these efforts. We want to connect the key drivers of innovation in the region and beyond through the Summit to facilitate the adoption of smart cities technologies and initiatives.”, mentioned Anthony Chow, CEO of Igloohome.
