Thirst Milkshake (or better known as Thirst) is a startup based in Kuching, Sarawak that is known to serve healthy, fruit-based milkshakes and smoothies made with the freshest ingredients.

The company is looking to tackle the $3 billion bubble milk tea market by replacing traditional powdered milk tea with its combination of fruit puree and syrup.

Moreover, Thirst is also looking to offer great value to its customers with its affordably priced menu as compared to other products in the market today.

Thirst was founded in May 2016 after the founders gained inspiration from vendors selling coffee on the streets and they wanted to venture into the beverage market with a twist.

The company offers an alternative to the typical bubble milk tea, green tea or Thai milk tea that is currently on the top of every tea aficionado’s list in Malaysia.

Thirst’s drinks are mostly fruit-flavoured and use real ingredients such as milk or yoghurt as its base instead of the traditional powdered kind, and even the ice used in their drinks is made from real frozen fruit.

As for their menu, Thirst began with 10 fruits but has grown to include more choices such as Vanilla Apong and Chendol flavoured drinks, which is also one of their best sellers.
