Malaysian government accelerator MaGIC has appointed Dzuleira Abu Bakar as the new CEO

She will begin her new role starting from today, replacing former CEO, Ashran Ghazi, who departed late last year.

Dzuleira, whose previous stints include Cradle Seed Ventures and MAVCAP, has over 15 years of venture capital & private equity background.

Her other portfolios include managing the Usaha Tegas Group’s private equity business and fund-of-funds, as well as institutionalising non-profit institutions as part of Khazanah Nasional's Hasanah Foundation.
