The Creation

Marie-Christine Levet and Litzie Maarek launched Educapital in 2017, the pioneer European investment fund dedicated to Edtech, with the aim to bring innovation to education and learning. 

In 5 years, we invested in 20 European innovative companies which transform the way we learn and work.
We launched our second fund in 2022 with the goal to back future European Edtech leaders.
With $200m assets under management today, Educapital is the largest European fund dedicated to Edtech and Future of work.

We are an impact fund, focused on providing quality education to all, improving educational outcomes and access to work for everyone.Educapital is also the first independent venture capital firm founded by two women.
