dmg ventures is a venture capital fund with a unique platform for reaching the mass market, through our partnership with the Daily Mail and General Trust plc (DMGT), a leading, global media and B2B services group.

Combined with our sector specialist team, we have a powerful proposition for start-ups.

We back B2C startups that will resonate with DMGT’s vast and heterogeneous audience. Our focus areas are responsible consumption, later life services, well-being, and the democratization of access to property & financial services, though we invest opportunistically at times.

We have two investment strategies.

Firstly, we back companies at Late Seed to Series A with £0.5m-£3m tickets, with a portion of our tickets comprised of discounted media.

We also make media-only investments of £1m-£5m in growth-stage companies that already have significant revenue and marketing budgets.

We run Media Maestro at the start of each year, a competition where we give £250k media spend, plus associated benefits, to the winner.
