Ivan Tan

Ivan is a Singaporean with more than 20 years of working experience where he started off as a part-time dish washer, full time job was with The Fullerton Hotels in Singapore as a Banquet Senior Waiter. With clear career goal set, Ivan became an manager within 5 years for a person without a diploma or degree. Took a lot of challenges along the way in his career. Biggest career achievement was F&B Cluster Manager in charge of 12 sport venues F&B operation, Volunteers Management where he managed almost 150 volunteers from all walks of life. Make a mid-career changed in my 40s from hospitality to Talent Acquisition. As a recruiter, Ivan have great responsibility on him to create an impact on jobseeker life and employers life by protecting both rights, ensure hiring is fair and no discrimination. As an ex-sales manager Ivan kept himself updated on regional and global market trends.

Ivan is a multi-disciplinary recruiter who has delivered successfully across diverse and complex industries. Key areas of focus include digital & tech (FinTech, eCommerce, software development, etc) and consumer (FMCG, food tech, luxury, retail, electronics, etc) Hospitality, F&B, Engineer, Logistics sectors.

Ivan is currently pursuing a Advantage Certificate in Future Workforce Architecture at Singapore Management University and will not stop there as he believe in life-long learning.
