I co-founded and bootstrap QDOC Global, a web-based queue system for healthcare centers such as clinics.
The purpose of our system is to:-
1) minimize patient's time wasted in waiting for doctor consultation at clinics.
2) minimize the need for patients to gather at clinics for waiting.
We all witnessed how rapidly and easily a virus like covid-19 can spread.
"Social distancing" is not a slogan. It should be seriously being practiced at critical premises such as clinics, not only to prevent Covid-19, but other unprecedented viruses like covid-19 in future that we don’t know from spreading.
How do we do it? A online queue system that:
Easy to implement. Patients do not need to download App or create an account to sign-in.
Scan the QR CODE, or open the clinic’s link, patients can make registration with the clinic, take a queue and check real-time queue running. And get ready when approaching their turn.
No hassle. Clinics only need to have Internet, PC or smartphone to implement QDOC. Nothing else needed. No hardware to manage.
Affordable. We understand many clinics may think it’s a big investment. So, we charge a low flat monthly fee. And added features that automate clinic’s administration works such as reporting, patients log generation, booking management..
The appointment system doesn’t address our purposes because the majority of people don’t make appointments when they need to see a doctor.
So managing the queue sequence for both walk-in and appointment patients is a more sound solutions….
