Inside Sales Representative

Full Time

As a world-class Inside Sales Representative, you will play a central role in scaling our Go-to-Market team by driving the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to winning new customers. You will build and close a sales pipeline by engaging in professional conversations with executives from targeted companies to drive interest, qualifying inbound demand, and demonstrating strong sales skills to drive the sales process to closure. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and communication skills and be both persistent and resilient in striving to exceed goals. As the first touchpoint with customers, you will play a key role in establishing Horangi as a differentiated Cybersecurity SaaS platform that focuses on creating value for each prospect & customer. You will need to partner cross-functionally with the Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to help build and execute repeatable sales plays. Junior Cyber Compliance Specialist

We focus on building partnerships with our customers, developing an understanding of their business goals, and building a security strategy to achieve their objectives. We help our customers implement a holistic approach to security. We do that through a combination of world-class Cyber Security services and products targeted at our customer’s biggest pain points. THE ROLE The Junior Cyber Compliance Specialist role in the internal security team is to assist in the development and implementation of controls to strengthen Horangi’s internal security programme. The candidate will work directly with seniors and management to assess Horangi’s technology-related risks and design and deploy controls to help the firm continually strengthen internal controls. We are creating trust for our customers. What You’ll Do • Participate in the design and implementation of the internal cyber security programme, covering various preventive and detective controls areas such as access control, change management, data loss prevention, business continuity planning and an enterprise-wide risk management framework. • Support internal projects to address cybersecurity issues, compliance objectives, and regulatory based deliverables. • Assist the organisation in preparing for the SOC2 auditing process. • Drafting of cyber security policies and procedures. • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members and management on progress. • Help prepare reports and schedules for Horangi leadership. What we’re looking for Our ideal candidate has a security mindset and understands that cyber security starts with people & processes, and strives to assist in driving organizational change. The candidate should have an introductory knowledge of fundamental security concepts and passion to continually learn and develop their cybersecurity knowledge. The candidate needs to be collaborative and communicate effectively, as we value responsiveness and transparency in our culture. Experience requirements • A recent graduate with cyber security internship experience • or 1-3 years of overall work experience. -- 0-2 years of cyber security experience. -- Or if the candidate does not have cyber security experience, 1-2 years of IT experience is required. Must Have • Educational background or working experience in information security, computer science, information systems, engineering; and/ or business administration. • Proven experience to execute on a project (whether at school or work) from end to end. • Excellent computer literacy and experience using Google Sheet or Microsoft Excel for projects. • Interest in cybersecurity topics including: IT governance, IT audit, business & system processes review, information security management, technology risk management, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, design and implementation of security solutions such as I&AM, DLP, PAM, and SIEM/SOC. • Abilities to communicate efficiently both in written and verbal forms. • The ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems. • A willingness to be challenged along with a healthy appetite for learning. Good To Have • Exposure to business analysis topics, including requirements gathering, system design, stakeholder management, business process design, system implementation, and maintenance. • Familiarity with cyber security risk and management frameworks, standards, and best practices such as NIST, ISO27001, or other internationally recognized cyber security standards. • Experience in project management. • Experience to write scripts and create automations.
