SERV

Serv is a technology start-up that provides mobile car service platform. It was founded in November 2016 by Arief Imran acting as the CEO, Hasli Ayob as the CMO, and lastly Hazim Nordin as the CTO.

The company, which based in MaGIC Cyberjaya began with ideation and market validation. Throughout the period, it was under incubation of Dagga Petroliam Sdn Bhd until it was officially registered on 20th of July 2017 as Serv Technology Sdn Bhd.

The founders, coming from various backgrounds such as business, automotive, and technology have decided to combine their knowledge and expertise to build and lead Serv. The purpose of Serv is to tackle the problems faced by the customers, especially urban workers and lady drivers in sending their car to the workshop as well as the increased unemployment rate among the mechanic. Thus, Serv applied a sharing economy concept that able to help both parties in a well-regulated platform.

At the beginning, Serv was operating through the website. Despite having over 10,000 active visitors on the website alone at that moment, Serv believed that with the launch of the Serv and Serv Partner mobile applications, it would attract more urban workers as the apps complement their lifestyles. Besides, both apps are important in order to lead smoother operations. Thus, on the 30th of September 2017, the Serv and Serv Partner mobile applications were officially launched. Now, the website has recorded more than 30,000 active visitors and have more than 800 registered users through the mobile apps.

More than 280 services done, Serv continues to operate through the mobile apps and website at Serv.my. Serv is currently operating in the Klang Valley, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya areas and look forward to expanding to other major cities. Selected to be one of the Top 60 start-ups for MaGIC Global Accelerator Program 2017, Serv team is diligently working on the company growth phase by phase. Now, the team is actively gathering potential investors for the growth of the company.
