About Shopback
Headquartered in Singapore with an affiliate office in the United States, Malaysia, the Philippines, India and Indonesia, ShopBack is one of the pioneers who introduced a fresh spin to Southeast Asia’s online shopping scene in September 2014. Granting customers Cashback when they shop at over 1,000 online stores, ShopBack connects both merchants and shoppers with a mutually beneficial reward system.
When a shopper makes a successful transaction on any store that is linked from ShopBack’s website, the merchant who earns from the purchase will give a commission to ShopBack. Thereafter, ShopBack shares its commission with the shopper, who will receive it as Cashback.
With a dedicated team of over 50 people equipped with extensive experience in the ecommerce industry, ShopBack has successfully established presence in four markets within a year, with future plans of gaining a greater foothold on the regional map.
In October 2015, ShopBack was crowned the winner of the Gold award in the Best Start-up (Growth Stage) category and Silver award in the Best Innovative Infocomm Products (Consumers) category at the 7th Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) Awards. This is the local start-up’s maiden voyage in industry awards, pitting against more than 300 nominations for the esteemed titles.
