Nitesh Chellaram (COO) - Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. Co-founded Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia. Drove 400% annual growth and recruited for over 150 companies. Worked closely with clients like OYO Rooms, Gojek, Zilingo, Tokopedia, BookMyShow, Indofood Group, etc). Previously handled family business that’s into the FMCG & Grocery space.
Responsibilities:
Be a core member of the founding team to build a scalable start-up from ground up. Guide the founders in areas related to technology. Setting a vision for how technology will be used by the company. Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs. Take responsibility in driving technology, quality, and performance of the system like an owner would to help drive more volume and strength to the business. Outline the goals for the development team and take the responsibility to build/recruit the team. Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services. Working closely with the founders and the product team to understand market requirements, business goals to translate them into microservices that help achieve those set goals. Making executive decisions, budget, and tools required on behalf of the company's technological requirements. Acting as a mentor to team members. Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook. Understanding of latest technology trends and having a grip on the certain key stacks that will be required to build and manage scale.
Requirements:
Masters degree in computer science or related field.
12 years plus working in a technological role.
5 years of managerial experience.
Has been in an early-stage startup & seen scale.
Having knowledge of systems for warehousing & logistics would be an added benefit.
Microservices and serverless architecture.
Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes is important.
Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.
Have a prior track record of hiring and building a team.
Tech architecture background is a plus point.
Exceptional team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to delegate efficiently.
Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
