About The Team
The Design team is responsible for all user experience, user interface, product design, graphic design, internal and external design needs throughout the company.
What To Expect
Intern will be working (virtually) alongside our team in creating designs for external and internal use. The scope of work will be very wide, and we treat the interns as if they are full-time team members. This means a lot of responsibility and exposure to work that has immediate relevance to our company’s mission. You will experience life at a high-growth startup, play vital role in building iterations for our iOS mobile app. You will be heavily involved with the product: working on in-app content (animations), such as animations for our meditations, breathworks. You will also be designing interactions/movement in app and improving user experience overall.
The ideal candidate must possess strong design, animation, and have a deep understanding of digital best-practices, an unquestionably keen eye and an understanding of user experience.
Requirements
Specific project assignments and required technical aptitude will vary:
Must be proficient in the Adobe creative suite of software, especially AE
Must be able to submit a portfolio showing both student and any previous internship work.
Mastery of After Effects and other software for creating user interface animations and rapid user experience comps, animations, and prototypes
Experience as an illustrator, with motion graphics, and/or interaction design is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Bonus points: familiar with Cinema 4D, Maya, or other 3D software
