Unity Developer

Hyper is looking for a full-stack Unity developer that loves the platform and tooling. You’ll touch everything from core logic, to user-interfaces, and technical art: all in the service of building great immersive avatar tools for people.

Ideally you have a portfolio of projects that demonstrate your expertise, from small games to plugins and modules. Professional experience is preferred but not required: we care about your work first and foremost.

About the role

💻 You'll help build out our core Unity tooling and experience. You’ll be working with one other developer, and will touch everything in the stack. You’ll have an outsized impact as an early member of the team.

📈 You'll be joining a small team focused on a fast growing product with strong signs of product market fit.

🔨 You should been building with Unity for 3+ years or be able to prove equivalent experience in public personal projects.

🌎 Hyper is ~7 people right now and we're fully remote, with a few folks in California. Written communication is extremely important due to our distributed nature, and you should be able to communicate your ideas, proposals, and decisions over the internet and in person.

💿 Bonus points if you are familiar with or have an interest in other related disciplines like technical art and consumer software architecture, or augmented reality.
