Responsibilities
- Create and develop digital sales channels (website/mobile app/delivery platforms/POS)
- Implement and develop a CRM system, connected to digital sales channels and digital advertising (social media, etc), loyalty programs, etc.
- Develop ERP/Supply chain (procurement, logistics, inventory, cost recognition fully integrated with accounting systems)
- Own and optimize business processes in operations, supply chain, HR, etc. Specifically, all processes that will be - automated by software
- Support and develop HR system for our labor-intensive business with recruiting (including background checks), onboarding, education, certification, and quality control
- Create and develop internal product management software with control of VRs (virtual restaurants), menus, analytics, quality control, and customer feedback
- Hardware systems, POS, KDS, printers, etc. that are fully integrated with all systems described here
- Making key decisions on technology investments
- Participating in piloting and building digital business platforms
- Working collaboratively with the entire team on the development of new products, enhancements, and redesigns
- Ensuring that the appropriate risk assessments are made when introducing new information and operational technology into the organization
Experience
- CTO/EVP/head of engineering experience
- Experience in managing and running IT projects/teams
- IT experience in food retail or delivery (preferences on food delivery (DoorDash, UberEats) / dark kitchen (Reef, Shef, Rebel foods) /aggregators (Ordermark, etc) experience)
- Ecommerce experience (consumers goods)
- Web/App/UI project/product management experience
- CRM/ERP (business process management)

24 Months Out
Here are the expected results for the first 24 months, these may from uncovered possibilities that only our joint-consultations can uncover.
Phase 1 (2021)
- Primary focus to create and optimize ordering web/app platform v.2 with all necessary CRM, subscription/membership, and other needed capabilities (focus on responsibilities 1, 2 & 6 above in Q2-3 of 2021)
- CRM selection and integration with digital sales channels.
- Optimize and integrate the currently 40+ SaaS applications, as well as new SaaS applications to drive diversification of business
- Form team needed to use existing and new software to achieve the above responsibilities
- Build a better version of Unfurl Version 1.0 software architecture built on lower-priced well established SaaS solutions to support up to 10 Unfurl units and over 20+ VRs in the SF Bay Area.
Phase 2 (2022)
- The main focus is to select and integrate more expensive and appropriate enterprise SaaS solutions to increase operational efficiencies on a disciplined cost/benefit/margin analysis
- Drive Unfurl’s Version 2.0 software architecture entirely built on more expensive and complex enterprise SaaS solutions to support and potentially envision Unfurl’s Version 3.0 software architecture requirements funded by growth demands and/or Series B funding strategies.
