We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who is able to make an immediate impact by helping us to design and develop the new business line at Splyt: Food Delivery.
In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UI/UX and other technical projects is essential.
Ultimately, you will make our new product user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the design process from idea conception to launch, and thereafter through continual product development
- Understand product specifications and user psychology for our new vertical
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to project stakeholders, partners and developers
- Design an engaging experience and user interface for mobile platforms
- Conceive and maintain all visual elements and definition of all user experience behaviours/touchpoints
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
- Craft user stories, personas, storyboards and flows from requirement and conduct usability testing
- Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
- Find creative ways to solve UI/UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
- Collaborate with the product and development leads to ensure an optimised workflow
- Research and analyse industry trends and competitor products in order to influence our product development decisions
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer (5/6 years)
- Strong portfolio of mobile application design projects
- Background in project management and research
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
- Proficient in design software (e.g. Adobe, Figma, Miro, Zeplin)
- Experience building design systems from the ground up
- Creative problem-solving and an analytical mind
- Excellent communication skills
- BSc in Digital Design, Creative Technology, Interactive Design, HCI or related field
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS (desirable but not required)
