The Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with proven experience to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and platforms. You will be part of the Engineering/Product Development team, writing descriptive manuals and guides for a wide range of audiences. Moxion’s products users include individual/enterprise customers, customer-services, operations managers, technicians, partners, service managers, and account managers. You will be responsible for support and coordination for developing and disseminating informational materials by collaborating with the product managers, engineering managers, operations managers, Technicians, and other internal users. Your duties include researching topics, interviewing subject matter experts, writing documents, and editing work for publications.

What You'll Do:

• Create complete systems documentation for customer usage
• Create service and warranty documentation
• Create vehicle labeling compliant with government and industry standards
• Develop Moxion customer promotional fliers and presentation material

Skills to be Successful:

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
• Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy
• Independently gather information from technical and non-technical Subject Matter Experts to develop, organize and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documents
• Familiarity with technical documents
• Ability to prepare, review, revise and maintain technical documentations
• Experience creating and using infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, charts, workflows, and graphics that increase users’ understanding.
• Develop and maintain templates for written documentation ensuring a consistent “look and feel” and meets and exceeds the company standards and client expectations.

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge or expertise energy, fleet management, or EV industry
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software preferably Solidworks
• Experience with creating 3D CAD exploded views of assemblies
