Technical Founder in Residence for YC startup

Join a fast-growing, open-source devtools startup with repeat founders and YC backing:

At Nango (YC W23), we have developed an open-source platform for product integrations. It is a developer tool crafted by engineers for engineers to seamlessly connect software solutions.

We are looking for an ambitious technical founder in residence to help us scale Nango.

By joining us, you will collaborate intimately with our two founders & founding engineers across all facets of our startup. You will also be stepping into a very fast-paced, well-funded, seed-stage startup environment.

Location

Remote across North America (EST timezone).

Tasks

• You own our customer’s success with the Nango platform

• You learn hands-on what it takes to build a successful devtool with happy customers

• You build PoCs for prospects, help our customers architect their integrations on Nango and create technical demos

• You leverage AI to build integrations fast for customers. and build out internal tooling to build integrations even faster

• You work on all parts of the customer experience, from the first touch point to expansion on the platform, to make our customers successful

• You work directly with the CEO to scale Nango and show value fast to prospects

• You work directly with the CTO to improve the core platform and speed up value delivery for all future customers

Requirements

• You have a technical background: CS major, 3+ years of coding experience, or similar

• You are ambitious, learn fast, are a self-starter, and want to learn what it takes to build a great product for developers

• You are resourceful and find a path to your goals, no matter what is in your way

• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and easily juggle many concurrent projects. A fast-paced startup is your favorite environment because you wear many hats.

• Excellent communication skills in English, in writing, on video calls, and during in-person interactions

• A genuine passion for APIs, integrations, and working with software engineers is a strong plus

• Bonus: Past experience in an early stage or built your own technical products
