Glimpse is building a new experiential retail channel where brands place their products into short-term rentals and resorts for guests to try and purchase the product. We are reimagining product discovery where consumers can discover products where they are.
We've raised $6.2M from incredible investors, have a network of 8,000 properties and 15+ brands, and are growing quickly. It's an incredible time to join with unique opportunities to tackle challenges in both going 0-1 and scaling.
We're looking for someone passionate about our vision to come and lead our data platform - from the architecture to our user-facing curation engine.
What you'll be doing at Glimpse:
- Working 0-1 to define key decisions around architecture and engineering decisions to set a scalable foundation for the Glimpse data platform
- Leading a team of engineers to evolve the current solution
- Working directly with founders to define the product roadmap
- We use modern technologies like Next.JS, Prisma, Postgres, Serverless framework, and AWS.
To take on this challenge, we're looking for someone who:
- has 4+ years of experience working on data projects and full-stack products
- has experience working 0-1 and managing an engineering team
- has experience scaling to thousands of users
- preferred experience: worked at a startup, led end to end product launches before
