Who We Are:
Hightouch believes in a future where everyone can take action on their Data. Hightouch was founded on the notion that every business team—sales, marketing, support, success—needs (no, deserves!) access to relevant, accurate, and real-time customer data. With Hightouch, every business unit can access the same customer data in real-time to streamline critical processes, improve marketing performance, and scale operations. Data teams love Hightouch because of the developer-friendly tooling that allows them to control, monitor, and debug workflows all in one place.
We are a quickly expanding team and believe in diverse backgrounds. We care less about "years of experience" and more about the impact you are able to make. We value high-trust, low ego, and tons of ownership. You get to control your destiny and shape your future at Hightouch. We’re driven by the delight of our customers and know that our best work comes when we take care of each other and encourage each other to do our best work together.
Hightouch is based in San Francisco, is remote-friendly, and backed by leading investors such as Amplify Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Afore Capital.
About The Role
Hightouch is looking for its first Strategic Finance hire, setting the foundation for how we operationalize a metrics-driven culture. You’ll gain insight into every team at Hightouch, work closely with our executive team, and report directly to our VP of Finance & Data. This isn’t a role where you’ll be doing Excel in a corner in order to build a model no one looks at - if you’ve been looking to deeply understand and make an impact on a high-growth startup, this role is for you.
How you’ll spend your time
- Drive a culture of accountability by owning Hightouch’s operating model and running our monthly / quarterly business review cadence
- Ensure cross-company strategic and operational alignment by ensuring that our GTM, EPD, and G&A team goals support our highest company priorities
- Surface quantitative insights across the business to increase growth and efficiency
- Support investor relations efforts, including board meeting preparation
About You
- Incomparable financial modeling skills: your models are clean, accurate, and easy to audit and backed by a thorough understanding of underlying business levers
- Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders: you seek to understand your collaborators’ viewpoints and challenges
- Ability to derive meaningful strategic insights from a variety of datasets: you love playing detective to drive change
- Bonus point: you have a strong knowledge of SaaS metrics and know the strengths and weaknesses of payback period, LTV/CAC, burn multiple, and the like
Who you are
- You have a combination of experiences across investment banking, consulting, private or public investing, and high-growth startups
- You have at least four years of full-time work experience and your trajectory so far reflects the high level of impact you’ve made
- You’re deeply curious about businesses and how they grow
- You’re entrepreneurial and don’t wait for permission in order to make an impact
Even if your experience does not line up perfectly, we are still excited to have you apply. The best hires do not always check off every box of a job description.
