Staff Software Engineer - Cloud

Position Overview:

Ambient.ai is bootstrapping its India Technology Engineering division with exponential growth ahead. Working under the leadership of Kiran Palan and Vikesh Khanna, you will be in one of the senior-most engineering roles and will be a key player.  The candidate will own major areas of the core platform and security engineering of Ambient.ai and will help in bootstrapping the India Technology center.

The impact you'll make:

• Design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant microservices for AI/ML platform
• Core infrastructure for collecting and processing large volumes of video streaming data
• Improving performance, reliability, and scalability of all backend services
• Design, implement and own large features end to end 

The amazing skills you'll bring to Ambient.ai:

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in the software industry
• Experience in architecture, designing, building, and operating cloud-scale services with at least three nines of availability
• Understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous architectures
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, principal OR leading a small engineering team will be desired 
• Strong experience working with at least one of the  Object Oriented Programming Languages like Python, C++, Scala, Golang, etc would be required
• Experience with MySql/PostgreSQL/Redis
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent related field with a strong programming background.
• Familiar with working in AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud platform
• Experience with building SaaS product offerings will be a huge advantage
• Ability to write, maintain and review code
• Experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL) will be preferred
• Experience building Cloud/SaaS/PaaS product offerings will be a huge advantage
