About the Role: Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager

Taplytics and DevCycle have a great story to tell: huge clients, rapid growth, great product-market fit, Y-Combinator backing and strong funding behind us.  This role will primarily support the growth of our technical team and the development of the latest technologies & methodologies and our sales team that sells to mid-market and enterprise-level clients.  You’ll also have a strong executive team to learn from; who will support you as you help build the team covering go-to-market strategy and engineering success. 

We've got a lot of positions to fill over the next year and our team needs an experienced recruiter to head up the talent acquisition efforts.

We’ll make sure you get deep exposure to the rest of the entire business and have the opportunity to apply your extensive experience in recruiting to find new candidates and define the process to have them join the team. 

You’ll also have the opportunity to expand and grow your role into leadership, you'll also build out and manage the recruitment team if that is of interest.

You get to be creative, conduct your own outreach strategies and show us the clever ways you’ve got planned to attract the best people. Are you up to the challenge?

How you’ll make a huge impact:

  • Source fantastic candidates for specific roles by directly and indirectly reaching out; frequent use of LinkedIn and similar sourcing tools will be the norm.    
  • Screen applications (resumes, video interviews, etc.)    
  • Sell the opportunity and the Taplytics story to prospective candidates by phone, email and in-person meetings.    
  • Coordinate interviews and other recruiting processes for candidates and hiring managers (we use Lever as our ATS).    
  • Host and coordinate engaging recruiting events, in-house community events such as talks, games nights, or hackathons.    
  • Contribute to our awesome culture and help make Taplytics great.
  • Support our HR function through onboarding new employees and getting them set up and ready to go on their first day.

  • You are a talented recruiter with great experience at one or more amazing companies   
  • You know how to get hard-to-contact, passive candidates interested in taking the leap   
  • You are familiar and comfortable in the environment of a hyper-growth tech company; this means you embrace chaos but always seek ways to enhance the experience and make things better    
  • When you talk to candidates about a company or a role, they get really excited about joining that company    
  • You have a keen eye for technical & sales abilities and can hire engineers, account executives etc. here in Toronto and around North America    
  • You have a bias toward action / you love to dive in and get stuff done
