Nook is looking for a talented, thoughtful, and mission-driven Product Designer to join our growing team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will shape our end product for construction workers and establish a culture of design centered excellence across the company. Your work will help construction workers earn more money, levelup their skills, and find work on demand.
As our first Product Designer, you will solve a unique set of design and product challenges presented by the nature of a two-sided marketplace and working with blue-collar workers. We aren’t just trying to get people to click on ads or more buttons - we’re connecting people in physical space and managing all the chaos and unpredictability of daily workers within the construction industry.
Who you are:
- You’re ready to take ownership of end-to-end design processes of the most critical areas of our product
- Passionate about helping people and eager to roll up your sleeves to do with it takes to ship products and features our users love
- Highly empathetic with a keen eye for detail and a stickler for product design excellence
- Been a part of a high functioning product team with a talent for user research, UX designer, but can also support a number of other product design functions
What you'll be doing?
- Take high level ideas from conception through execution
- Partner with our founders and the rest of the small team across a wide range of functions: engineering, sales, and operations
