Paragon One (www.ParagonOne.com) is helping corporations become the classrooms of the future for real work. We're a team out of MIT and YCombinator building scalable remote extern programs to upskill thousands of underrepresented students per year on behalf of corporates like Home Depot, Meta, PwC, HSBC, HP, and National Geographic. After a 6-8 week cohort-based extern program, students earn a certificate from the company and get to put the externship under professional experience on their resume. Nearly 80% of students are from underrepresented (black, hispanic, latinX) backgrounds, and we see 1 in 2 students land Fortune 1000 jobs within 6 months of completing an externship. Our platform and process handles recruiting, training, collaboration, workflow management, and assessment.

We are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurially-minded Sr. Engagement Manager with a consulting or professional services background, and a passion for managing corporate partnerships and engagements to join our fast-paced team. This role will focus on onboarding company projects, project managing our corporate accounts, building deep relationships, and expanding partnerships within large enterprises.

Ideal candidates will have worked in professional services (i.e. consulting or banking), product management, business development, and/or a startup while bringing attention to detail, strong client management skills, and ability to work with companies across different industries.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies

Guide corporate partners through project onboarding

Provide guidance on how extern projects should be structured

Project manage externships with company point-of-contact including webinar planning, work quality review, and making sure company client needs are met

Manage and support corporate client relationships throughout externship lifecycle with goal of expanding client contract scope across organization

Skills and Experience

Grit and perseverance to tackle the hardest problems

4+ years of professional services (i.e. consulting or banking), product management, business development, and/or a startup experience.

Strong relationship development skills with senior leadership and stakeholders

Strong sense for how to navigate complex corporate environments in order to close deals

Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels

Exceptional teamwork and multi-tasking skills

Strong sense of ownership and roll-up-your-sleeves attitude

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Experience with recruiting technology tools

Experience thriving and prioritizing in a constantly changing environment
